Pakistan celebrates Eid Milad un Nabi (PBUH) with prayers, processions, and Milad gatherings to honour Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Streets are decorated with lights, and charitable acts mark the blessed occasion.
Pakistan is celebrating, the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), with utmost reverence and devotion today the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal.
The day began with a 31-gun salute in Islamabad and 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals, followed by prayers for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country.
Eid Milad un Nabi (SAW) is marked every year on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal, the third month of the Islamic calendar. On this day, Muslims across Pakistan reaffirm their allegiance to the teachings of Rehmatul-lil-Alameen and pledge to live by the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Throughout the country, conferences, Mahafil-e-Milad, processions, and seminars are being organised by religious scholars, Milad committees, and community groups to shed light on the Prophet’s exemplary life, which remains a guiding light for all humanity.
Homes, mosques, and streets have been decorated with colourful lights. Citizens are distributing food, sweets, and gifts as part of the celebrations.
Government and religious organisations have also arranged special programs to highlight the Prophet’s (PBUH) role as a messenger of peace, tolerance, and compassion for mankind.
