Washington, D.C: In his State of the Union address, former U.S. President Donald Trump outlined key national security concerns, economic policies, and foreign policy achievements, emphasizing America’s strength and prosperity under his leadership.
During the speech, Trump raised concerns about Iran’s missile development program, claiming that Tehran is advancing missile capabilities potentially capable of reaching the United States. He stressed the need for continued vigilance and strong defense measures to safeguard American interests.

Trump also declared that the United States had become “stronger, wealthier, and safer than ever before,” pointing to economic growth, job creation, and defense investments as evidence of progress.
On trade policy, Trump addressed the issue of tariffs, noting disappointment over a recent ruling by the Supreme Court of the United States regarding tariff-related authority. Despite the court’s decision, he asserted that several countries remain willing to negotiate and agree to tariff arrangements with the United States.
The former president further referenced his role in easing tensions between India and Pakistan, reiterating his claim of helping to prevent escalation between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
The address focused heavily on themes of national security, economic sovereignty, and America’s position on the global stage, reinforcing Trump’s stance on strong borders, trade enforcement, and military preparedness.
The State of the Union speech highlighted ongoing debates surrounding U.S. foreign policy, trade authority, and the nation’s strategic response to emerging global threats.
