Islamabad: The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) successfully underwent the second dose of an eye injection procedure at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), hospital officials confirmed.
According to the Executive Director of PIMS, all necessary medical evaluations were conducted prior to administering the injection. These included an echocardiography (ECHO) test and an electrocardiogram (ECG), both of which returned normal results.
The procedure was performed under the supervision and guidance of consultants from PIMS and Shifa International Hospital. A board of medical specialists conducted a detailed pre-procedure examination to assess the PTI founder’s health condition.
Hospital sources stated that the patient’s vital signs remained stable throughout his stay, during the procedure, and in the post-procedure monitoring period. The consultant physician also declared him medically stable following the treatment.
After a final medical assessment, the PTI founder was discharged from the hospital with prescribed medications, necessary medical instructions, and relevant documentation.
Officials emphasized that the procedure was carried out smoothly and in accordance with standard medical protocols.
