This day honors the Lahore Resolution, which was passed on March 23, 1940, and the first Pakistani Constitution, which was adopted on March 23, 1956.
President Zardari made the following statement during a Pakistan Day military parade at Aiwan-i-Sadr: “Pakistan is facing geo-political challenges, while their brave armed forces, with the support of the nation, have been giving unprecedented sacrifices.”
According to the Pakistani Associated Press, he claimed that India had consistently attempted to paint Pakistan in a negative light while Khawarij and other terrorist organizations sought to carry out their nefarious plans.

In the meantime, Pakistan may attain economic success, maintain social fairness, and establish its legitimate position among the world’s nations with the correct policies, committed efforts, and national unity, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz.

According to him, this day marks a turning point in the history of Muslims in South Asia.
He said they envisioned a state where Muslims could live with freedom, dignity, and self-respect — a place molded by their ideals and aspirations — under the inspirational leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
According to him, this year’s Pakistan Day falls during Ramadan, a time for introspection, self-control, and a renewed dedication to one’s beliefs.
According to the premier, it is a period that strengthens our unity and acts as a potent reminder of the virtues of selflessness and tenacity, which are ingrained in the very fabric of our country.
“We pay tribute to and honor the unwavering and courageous efforts, vision, and determination of our ancestors that resulted in the establishment of an independent Pakistan,” stated Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister.

“By the grace of Almighty Allah, our nation continues to progress under the banner of democracy, upholding the eternal principles of Islam,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
The armed services congratulated the country on the 85th anniversary of Pakistan Day, saying it “set the course for the creation of an independent homeland and crystallized our collective vision.”
