On Monday, the Punjab Education Department declared winter vacations for all of the province’s schools and universities

Khalid Nazir Watoo, the Punjabi secretary of education, has formally announced that the province’s schools would begin their winter break on December 20.

Watoo declared in a public announcement that staff and students would have a 20-day vacation, with classes starting again on January 10, 2025.

Punjabi parents and students are looking forward to winter with this announcement.

Punjab University declared earlier on Sunday that its exams would be postponed by one week.

However, the spokesperson confirmed that university classes will proceed as scheduled.

Heads of Departments (HoDs) will continue conducting lectures in their respective departments, either online, in person, or in a hybrid format, as per the notification.
