India launched missile attacks in the early hours of the morning, which spurred Pakistan to respond. Pakistan has called its new operation against its neighbor “Bunyan-um-Marsoos.”
The Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) Nur Khan (Chaklala, Rawalpindi), Murid (Chakwal), and Rafiqui (Shorkot in Jhang district) air bases were targeted by India, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, who stated that all of the air force’s assets were safe at around 3:30 am on Saturday.
He claimed that India was “pushing the whole region towards a dangerous war with its madness, aggression, and deceit” during a press conference. Additionally, the DG ISPR said that India has attacked Afghanistan with drones and missiles.
According to the military spokesperson, the armed forces’ air defense systems intercepted “the majority” of Indian missiles fired at PAF airbases.

According to the preliminary damage assessment reports, the few Indian missiles that escaped detection and “sneaked in” have “not been able to cause any damage” to PAF’s flying assets, he said.
According to the DG ISPR, the military’s air defense systems were able to “successfully prevent the desired objectives of India.”
Following attacks on Indian Punjab, he said that India’s missile and drone strikes on Afghanistan were “part of a larger sinister plan to push the region and beyond into havoc.”
The PAF possesses the electronic signatures of every Indian missile, including “from where they were initiated and what was targeted,” according to the DG ISPR.
The public was reassured by the chief military spokesperson that the military is “vigilant and thwarting all these cowardly acts of aggression by Indians.”
“These egregious acts of aggression by India truly reflect the paranoia that grows within the Indian mindset after each act fails, and it also grows after it realizes that it cannot break the resolve and will of the people of Pakistan, which further grows and strengthens with each such cowardly act.”

He added that the Indians’ “increasing dissatisfaction and paranoia” will be “further compounded.”
The Pakistani military initiated its counterattack against the Indian assault at 4:38 a.m., according to state-run PTV News.
As part of its retaliatory operation “Bunyan-um-Marsoos,” the Pakistani military destroyed a Brahmos missile storage facility in India’s Beas region, according to PTV News and Radio Pakistan at 5:52 a.m.
They said in a statement that attacks were still happening in other parts of India.
According to the statement, an airstrip in Pathankot and an aviation facility in Udhampur were also destroyed.
The beginning of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos against the “enemy” was also confirmed by Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan.
The minister wrote on X, “Long live Pakistan—may Allah protect our falcons.”
PPP Senator Sherry Rehman claimed that by focusing solely on Indian military targets tonight, Pakistan had reacted with accuracy and strategic integrity.
“Civilian populations in Pakistan have been indiscriminately attacked in India’s unprovoked attack tonight,” Rehman stated. “This is the obvious distinction.”
In a video update at 6:13 a.m., PTV News reported that the Brahmos’ storage location had been destroyed.
According to The Times of India, early on Saturday morning at 6:50 a.m. IST (6:20 a.m. PKT), explosion-like noises were heard in Punjab’s Pathankot region.
Authorities have not yet formally recognized the explosions, which were reported at around five in the morning. As a precaution, officials in Pathankot ordered locals to stay home during Friday night’s darkness, the statement stated.
At 6:29 a.m., PTV News reported that Pakistani drones were operating over New Delhi, the capital of India.
Soon after, the government claimed on X that as part of its retaliatory operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, Pakistan had struck important Indian military installations in a “befitting response.”
The statement made reference to Indian missile strikes against the PAF’s three airbases and stated, “These actions are being carried out in response to India’s initial attack, which was an assault on our homeland, people, and sovereignty.”
At 7:13 a.m., PTV News also reported that India’s S-400 system in Adampur had been destroyed by hypersonic missiles fired by the PAF’s JF-17 Thunder. The S-400 air defense system is valued at about $1.5 billion, it claimed.
As Pakistan’s assault continues, PTV News has reported that the majority of Indian websites, including the official BJP website and the Border Security Forces (BSF) website, have been compromised.
The Mahanagar Telecommunication Company Limited, the Bharat Earth Movers Limited, the All India Naval Technical Supervisory Staff Association, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, the Crime Research Investigation Agency, and the Unique Identification Authority of India were among the other compromised websites.
“The Indian Air Force, Maharashtra Election Commission, and other sites have leaked data,” the statement continued. Furthermore, over 2,500 security cameras have also been compromised.
In an interview with Geo News at around seven in the morning, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar stated that Pakistan is on the defense and had no option but to respond to India’s military activities.
We will not allow India to assert hegemony in light of the tamasha [circus] that it has engaged in over the last three days. The administration and armed forces of Pakistan are adamant that this will not occur.
“This operation, which we began today, will ultimately come to an end. What India desires will determine everything,” he stated.
After the attack on Nur Khan Air Base, our civil military leadership made the decision because Pakistan had no other option. No more waiting. All we’re doing is responding to them.
