QUETTA: It was revealed on Wednesday that a former commissioner’s daughter had attacked an air hostess on a Serene Air trip at the Quetta airport.
According to reports, Saima Jogzai and his father, Iftikhar Ahmed Jogzai, were on flight 540 heading to Islamabad from Quetta International Airport at the time of the tragedy.
When the cabin crew instructed the ex-commissioner’s daughter to buckle up, she became upset and began to abuse her.
At that point, the pilot requested that the father-daughter pair be offloaded by security personnel and canceled the flight’s takeoff.
Saima Jogzai attacked a flight attendant out of rage after refusing to get off the aircraft. The flight attendant’s nose started to bleed, and the punch also cracked one of her teeth, according to airline management.
The father and daughter were arrested by the Airport Security Force (ASF) after the flight attendant was hurt.
Following the event, the Balochistan government put pressure on the airline’s management to find a solution, according to the article.
The Quetta Commissioner showed up at the Quetta airport right away, asked ASF what was going on, and gave them instructions to resolve the issue.
The former commissioner and his daughter then issued a written apology. Following the apology, they were free to depart without facing any legal repercussions. The hurt flight attendant, meantime, was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
