In a case brought by fellow actor Aswad Haroon, she is scheduled to be taken into custody and appear in court on March 22.
In a Rs2.5 million fraud case, a Lahore court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for actor Nazish Jahangir. On Saturday, March 22, she will be taken into custody and brought before the court.
Actor Aswad Haroon filed the case, and Ghulam Shabbir Sial, the judicial magistrate of the Cantt Kutchery Court, issued the arrest warrant. The actor said in his appeal that he had lent Jahangir Rs 2.5 million and a car for two months, but that she had not returned either item within the allotted time.

He asked the court to issue an order to restore the money and automobile, claiming that the police had filed a case against her but that he had not received justice.
The first charge was brought to the Defence C police station in 2024 under Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which deals with deceit and dishonestly obtaining property delivery. It claimed that Jahangir, who was acquainted with Haroon from the entertainment sector, requested to borrow his car and Rs2.5 million for a project for two months but did not return it after six months had passed.
According to Haroon, Jahangir dispatched a man named Sikandar Khan who threatened him with firearms instead of showing up when he asked to meet him at a farmhouse to return the car’s documents. Khan vowed to kill Haroon if he ever contacted Jahangir again, according to the FIR.
In response, Jahangir petitioned for pre-arrest bail in September 2024. The FIR was filed with “malafide intention and for ulterior motives just to humiliate and harass the petitioner,” according to the suit. It was brushed aside.
She filed a case to halt propaganda against her on social media, and the Lahore High Court ordered the FIA to make a decision on it in October.
