Karachi: Baltistan Medical Trust (BMT) formally inaugurated its central office on M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi, in a ceremony attended by religious scholars, social and welfare leaders, naat reciters, and members of the Baltistan community from various professional backgrounds.
The event commenced with the official opening of the office, followed by addresses from the Trust’s trustees and distinguished guests. Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary General of Baltistan Medical Trust expressed gratitude to the attendees and acknowledged the financial contributors whose support made the establishment of the office possible. He also announced the cabinet of the Baltistan Medical Help Desk.

Prominent religious scholar Allama Mirza Yousuf lauded the efforts of BMT, appreciating the dedication of the youth behind the initiative. He described the organization as a symbol of national unity and termed the Sindh government’s engagement with Baltistan Medical Trust a significant achievement. He reaffirmed his continued support for the institution.

Ali Salman Anchan, founder of Phool Patti Truck Art, also addressed the gathering, calling BMT a source of pride for the people of Baltistan. He emphasized the importance of such welfare institutions for the community and pledged his support whenever required.
Mehdi Rizvi, head of Muhammadi Blood Bank, congratulated the Trust on the inauguration of its new office. In his remarks, he stated that Baltistan Medical Trust has reached new heights and has become a backbone for major blood banks across the country. He reiterated his commitment to continued collaboration with BMT.
Baltistan Medical Trust is a national welfare organization dedicated to ensuring the free provision of blood to people from Baltistan across Pakistan. Currently, the organization ranks first in Karachi with 27 operational units. In addition, BMT is actively serving in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and various areas of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Trust aims to promote public welfare by providing free medical-related services and facilities, reinforcing its mission to serve the community nationwide.
