Huthis blame civilian deaths in Yemen’s capital on US strikes
By: AFP
According to AFP, the Huthi rebels in Yemen have accused the United States of carrying out lethal airstrikes in the country’s capital, Sanaa, on Sunday, which they claim caused civilian casualties.

“A citizen was killed and 13 others, including three children, were injured in the final toll of the US aggression on a residential building in the Aser area,” stated Anees Alasbahi, a spokesman.
A nearby AFP correspondent reported that a structure had been destroyed, presumably by an airstrike.
Additionally, strikes were reported by Huthi media in the group’s stronghold of Saada and Sanaa. According to a defense official who spoke to AFP, “CENTCOM is conducting strikes across multiple locations of Iran-backed Huthi locations every day and night in Yemen.” The US has not formally confirmed the Sanaa operations.
