Known by most as “Amouranth,” Kaitlyn Siragusa has shared compelling video from the brutal house invasion that left her traumatized and damaged.
On Sunday, March 2, a vicious robbery occurred in Houston, Texas, targeting the well-known pornographic video creator and gaming streamer. Since then, three teenagers have been taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping: Demarcus Morris, 17, Bryan Salazar-Guerrero, 19, and Dylan Campbell, 18.
Forbes claims that Siragusa’s social media posts disclosing her cryptocurrency earnings—which totaled over $20 million—were the impetus behind the attack, which took place at 10:51 p.m. Her residence was broken into by armed thieves who demanded access to her cryptocurrency accounts. They pistol-whipped her when they couldn’t get in.
Armed and waiting in another area of the house was Siragusa’s husband, who had heard the ruckus and read her social media posts.
He shot at the approaching invaders, striking one of them. The suspects were seen running on surveillance film, one of them yelling, “I got hit, I got shot.”
Siragusa described her experience in a tweet, stating, “They pistol whipped me and beat me before this video.” I put my arms up to shield my head from the seemingly never-ending beating, and there was a link to the video.
Following the inquiry, authorities located an apartment complex where they obtained vital clues from stolen license plates and school records bearing the name “Demarcus Morri.” Later, in Galveston County, a dark-colored Toyota that matched the one used in the crime was pulled up. Campbell had orchestrated the crime, and the driver, Salazar-Guerrero, acknowledged being the getaway driver.
With bonds of $200,000 for Campbell, $150,000 for Morris, and $100,000 for Salazar-Guerrero—who has since been freed on bond—all three accused were placed into the Harris County Jail.
Siragusa is currently recuperating after being admitted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Her admirers and the internet community are quite concerned about the occurrence, which has brought attention to the dangers that famous personalities confront in the digital age.
