According to sources, “Sex Lives of College Girls” has been canceled at Max.
The show ran on the Warner Bros. Discovery streaming service for three seasons. The show’s third season premiered in November, and the season finale aired on January 25. In 2021, the program made its debut on Max.

Under her overall contract with Warner Bros. Television, Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble co-created the series. It “follows a group of college students at New England’s prestigious Essex College,” according to the official logline.
WBTV representatives chose not to comment, but a person with knowledge of the matter claims that the studio is now shopping the show to other networks.
Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Christopher Meyer, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Renika Williams, Gracie Lawrence, and Mia Rodgers were among the cast members for Season 3. Although she only made a cameo in Season 3, Reneé Rapp was a series regular for the first two seasons and had declared her intention to leave the program at the end of the season.

Both Noble and Kaling served as showrunners and executive producers on the series. 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein served as an executive producer as well. Through Kaling International, Kaling produced. The studio was, as said, WBTV.
Although Max usually doesn’t provide audience data for its original shows, “Sex Lives of College Girls” received great reviews for its first two seasons. The critical approval ratings for Seasons 1 and 2 on Rotten Tomatoes were 97% and 93%, respectively. However, based on evaluations from seven critics, Season 3 did not garner as much positive reception, receiving only 29% of the vote.

“Hacks,” which is getting ready for its fourth season, “And Just Like That,” which is getting ready for its third, and “Peacemaker,” which will premiere its second season later this year, make up Max’s current original comedy slate.
The cancellation news was first reported by Deadline.
