Gold prices in Pakistan dropped by Rs300 per tola on Monday, mirroring a similar downward trend in the global market.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24 karat gold per tola fell to Rs358,165, while 10 grams of gold was priced at Rs307,068 after a Rs257 decline.
The drop follows Saturday’s upward movement, where gold gained Rs1,465 per tola, reaching Rs358,465 by the end of the day.
- International Market Reflects Similar Trend
The international gold rate also saw a minor dip. Gold was priced at $3,366 per ounce (with a $20 premium), reflecting a $3 decrease, as per APGJSA.
- Silver Prices Edge Up
In contrast, silver prices increased. Silver per tola rose by Rs14, settling at Rs3,799.
