ISLAMABAD: According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24 carat gold per tola rose by Rs500 and was marketed at Rs325,500 on Thursday after selling for Rs325,000 the day before. Ten grams of 24 carat gold also cost Rs428 more, going up from Rs278,635 to Rs279,063, while ten grams of 22 carat gold cost Rs393 more, going up from Rs255,424 to Rs255,817. The prices of ten grams of silver and per tola stayed at Rs3,069 and Rs3,580, respectively. According to the Association, the price of silver was constant at $34.10 while the price of gold rose $5 to $3,089 from 3,084 on the global market.
