India’s CBI closes investigation, clears Rhea Chakraborty.
Actress Rhea Chakraborty has been given a clean sheet after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) formally ended the investigation of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death after almost four and a half years, ruling out any foul play.

On June 14, 2020, Sushant, 34, was discovered dead in his Mumbai flat in Bandra. His untimely death shocked Bollywood and his followers, sparking a media frenzy and a great deal of conjecture.
The CBI concluded its investigation and filed a closure report in court, according to Indian media reports, claiming there was no proof that anyone had coerced Sushant into taking his own life.

The Bandra Magistrate Court in Mumbai will hold the next hearing on April 8. The case will be formally closed if the court approves the report.
All of the suspects were acquitted after the CBI’s inquiry found that no criminal charges could be brought against anyone.
