In advance of the Eid holidays, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has started a province-wide initiative to give Eid presents to kids with special needs.
According to an official statement issued on Saturday, the program intends to give Eid presents to 40,000 special education kids who are enrolled in government schools.
On Maryam Nawaz’s behalf, Special Assistant Sania Aashiq visited three special education facilities in Lahore and gave out Eid presents in response to the chief minister’s directive.
The Government Degree College of Special Education in Johar Town served as the official launchpad for the campaign.
Additionally, gifts were given out at the Government Degree College for Special Education in Nishtar Town and the Government Shadab Institute of Special Education.
During her encounters with the students, Sania Aashiq showed love and concern while reading aloud a written letter from the chief minister.
Gifts and Eid cards were individually brought to each school per Maryam Nawaz’s directions, and pupils expressed their thanks and excitement in their own special ways.
Sania Aashiq also planted a seedling in the college lawn to commemorate the event.
Giving Eid gifts to special youngsters is a wonderful honor, according to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
She also mentioned that Punjab would soon see the start of fresh, creative projects aimed at improving the welfare and educational opportunities for kids with special needs.
