ISLAMABAD: A reporter for a foreign media outlet filed a complaint against Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, and several party officials.
Sections 324 (attempt to commit qatl-i-amd), 382 (theft after preparation made for causing death, hurt, or restraint in order to commit the theft), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon), 149 (every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object), 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees), and 109 (punishment of abetment if the act abetted committed in consequence and where no express provision is made for its punishment) are the sections under which the case has been filed at the Ramna police station.

In response to a complaint filed by Associated Press (AP) video journalist Mohammad Yousaf, the lawsuit was registered.
The FIR states that Mr. Yousaf arrived at G-10, which is close to the Kashmir Highway, at 7:45 a.m. on November 26 in order to cover the PTI protest.
Tear gas was being used between the demonstrators and the police when I got there. I was injured, including seriously injuring my skull, when 25 to 30 individuals suddenly used iron rods and sticks to kill me as I was documenting the protest on behalf of Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin, and other leaders.
In addition, his official equipment, including his camera, was confiscated. He said that the back registration plate had been taken off and that his car, which was parked on the Service Road next to the family court, was also damaged. He claimed that his severe injuries prevented him from filing the lawsuit in a timely manner.
According to a police officer who spoke to Dawn, there are now 23 cases against PTI leaders, supporters, and employees in Islamabad related to the demonstration in November.
Other PTI leaders, including Omer Ayub, Salman Akram Raja, Shibli Faraz, Shoaib Shaheen, Sheikh Waqas, Arif Alvi, Zartaj Gul, Sher Afzal Marwat, Asad Qaiser, Zulfi Bukhari, Hammad Azhar, Murad Saeed, and Rauf Hassan, were also nominated in a number of cases. Moreover, over 54,000 unidentified people were also booked in these cases.
